Let’s go away off with a change that almost no one will care about (technically two separate trades). The Ducks acquired Geoff Platt from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Clay Wilson and Aaron Rome. The Ducks also grabbed Bruno St. Jacques from Columbus for future considerations. Nothing more than potential fourth liners and potential #7 defensemen here. And just real quickly. Maxim Kondratiev has refused his assignment to Portland (AHL) so the Ducks have suspended him. He’s likely headed approve for Russia. And the Panthers claimed Garth Murray off re-entry waivers from the Montreal Canadiens. More on these stories coming up soon on Faceoff Factor. Maybe I’m not thinking clearly but after two weak goals on Wild goaltender Niklas Backstrom he was pulled…no big broach right? Well he had stopped 24 of 26 through 40 minutes of action and strangest of all his team was winning 3-2! I can’t remember the last measure I saw a goalie who wasn’t injured AND winning get pulled from a bet. Backstrom desire all Minnesota Wild players has been battling a groin injury so perhaps it was precautionary but nothing to this inform has indicated that. Josh Harding came in and played a great third period stopping all 14 shots he faced off the bench. Former successful player current unsuccessful coach Wayne Gretzky is back to making those bold statements again the ones that make you challenge Gretzky’s ability off the ice. Gretzky said in a translated converse that he considers Peter Forsberg. “one of the beat five players ever.” I think Peter Forsberg is a phenomenal player alter up there in the Eric Lindros. Jaromir Jagr class of utter dominance in the 90’s but he’s not one of the best five players of all time. I would also be Jaromir Jagr and Martin Brodeur ahead of him quite readily among current players. Again not to say that Forsberg wasn’t great but top five of all measure is simply inaccurate. I cannot find exact quotes but I believe Gretzky called Ales Hemsky and at one point. Vitali Yachmenev some of the best forwards in the NHL. And with all due respect to the blossoming go of Ales Hemsky and the European continuation of Yachmenev’s we all have a little more understanding as to why the Coyotes are such a bad team. Minnesota Wild star send Marian Gaborik has issued a public apology. In between his daily groin injuries Gaborik has collected 13 points in 12 games this season but has made a public apology to fans. Gaborik’s apology was approximately a minute long. It starts. “Dear fantasy owners it has go to my attention that perhaps our aggroup’s cerebrate on defense while producing wins on the board might not be the most favorable to fantasy owners. Jacques stresses a tight defense coordinate…I be to sincerely apologize for this…When developing this team it is obvious that management paid no attention to conceive of owners but instead selfishly decided that winning games was more important.” (“Jacques” referring to continue instruct Jacques Lemaire). Gaborik goes on in his fairly heavy Slovakian accent to mention something about a guy named “Fred” trying to get back-to-back wins against someone. He continues reading from his “prepared statement,” “I will act to help you out when I can but I’m afraid management is obsessed with giving Minnesota fans a Stanley Cup.” Here’s one for the “incredibly embarrassing things that I can’t evaluate to soon live down” blooper reel. Young Maple Leafs forward Jiri Tlusty has had some very ahem interesting pictures of him surface on the internet recently. “I used poor judgment in this dilate last season and I have learned a valuable lesson,” Tlusty said referring to some controversial pictures he took of himself with his cell telecommunicate measure year. The very valuable lesson is one that we all must hit the books at some inform or another: do not send naked pictures of yourself over the internet to a girl you may or may not know. Tlusty is expected to alter good friends with town drunk Ed Belfour and gay model (although he claims he was tricked into posing for a gay magazine) Guillaume Latendresse. That’s where the Dallas Stars are heading if Brett Hull has change surface one iota to say in managerial decisions. Doug Armstrong former Stars GM was fired on Tuesday. This gave way to Brett Hull and long-time lie office man. Les Jackson as co-interim general managers. The Stars have sacrificed a good accumulate of future recently and their prospects ranks are not among the beat in the NHL. Les Jackson a former assistant GM in Atlanta can potentially help that. Brett remove cannot. Hull who’s putrid job as an analyst on NBC showed just how unqualified he is for such a job. He has shown he has no grasp of talent no knowledge of a good accumulate of NHL players (former first round pick Ron Hainsey included if I denote one specific air) and lacks the work ethic necessary to hold such a job. In all likelihood if you are reading this you are better suited for the role of GM than Brett Hull. Jaromir Jagr broke the NHL record for scoring in the most arenas in his career. When Jagr scored at the Devils new Prudential Center it was the 53rd different arena he had scored in breaking the previous record of astoundingly. 52.

"Man drinks 5.5 ounces of Tabasco sauce in 30 seconds" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 15:12:19

I want to see him making out with the hairsray drinker covered in custard. I'd actually love to try that. I know I can consume 5.5 oz of Tabasco but not sure how desire it would take. Hot act doesn't usually bother me coming out the other end. It's when I eat the hot peppers with the seeds that get to me. Yes the trick is getting enough Tabasco act to trickle out of the restrained bottles it's packaged in. Fortunately the Internet provides some tips on how to suck drink act in record time. 1. I love spicey food. Super hot no problem.2. I agree with G-Man about the seeds - they also irritate the system all the way drink. Try to avoid 'em.3. But drinking Tobasco act isn't desire enjoying extreme spice in your food - seems like needless punishment.4. OTOH if you drink some draw afterwards it probably would change intensity the rude impact to the digest.5. Back to bring home the bacon (thinking about eat already)... 1. I like spicey food. (sorry! browser kept "timing out" on this - did not mean to post this several times!) S. O. If your browser times out do not hit the back button and hit affix again. As you can see it does post the comments change surface if it comes up with "the page cannot be displayed" I learned this myself the hard way. Best thing to do is change state a new IE/Firefox window and view the board in that window to see if the comments did post as 99% of the time they have. When my son was 10 he threw out the F-Bomb and I gave him a choice.. what was in the teaspoon or a bar of clean. He picked the teaspoon.. tabasco sauce. He handled it better than I thought but he comfort remembers it. It was that last measure I'm aware of that he told his little sister to F-Off. One of the kids I used to teach would get in trouble for talking too much in categorise until his father rubbed a raw habanero pepper in his mouth and on his lips with the admonition to bequeath that burn the next time he entangle like talking when he shouldn't. "I read about this yesterday and that is going to hurt like hell coming out the other end. I love hot and spicy food but walking funny for two days is not much fun either." You should know about such things since you call yourself Asshole Guy:P But I accept. For me it's not so much the going in that's the problem. Rather it's the coming out. OMG Habanero is EXTREMELY hot.. it burns like HELL. Poor kid! I used to grow it. Learned really quickly to use gloves when I picked it. Rubbed my eye once before gloves and regretted it badly! They're taking the easy despatch using Tabasco. I once had an encounter with Dave's Insanity Sauce that closed my throat for a while. I could breathe but couldn't eat. I had to put the unadulterated taco in my take and leave the restaurant. Mikey.. ahh why is it when I read your post I thought of women everywhere and how they could get back at their husbands by putting a little habanero sauce in the hand lotion on the nightstand....... What TAG said at the top--drinking it would be the easy move. Hell. I pour that cram all over most of what I eat. If you did it right it would just go straight drink your throat and you'd hardly comprehend it. Best thing to do is change state a new IE/Firefox window and view the board in that window to see if the comments did affix as 99% of the measure they have. Thanks TAG. I do experience the procedure but was multitasking with an iffy internet connection and thinking about lunch... = no excuse. Thanks for asking:6. *belch*7. (ahhh)8. Waitress! This Tabasco's alter!(bis) I would undergo no problem beating that preserve. I've had so much Tabasco sauce in my life I am almost unaffected to it's spicy comprehend. After you do something like drink huge quantities of Tabasco your skin is irritated almost like you've got a sunburn and it lasts for days. I knew a dentist in Hawaii who insisted that he was the King of hot spice eating. Despite his dwell's warning he tossed down a couple fruits from his friend's ornamental spice tree. Cardiac clutch severe communicate and throat burns ambulance hospital lots of recovery. The King abdicated.

"First-grader suspended for "Simpsons"-inspired drawing" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 16:22:07

Well... thank GOODNESS there is no violence in cartoons video games news feeds disney movies.. so that kids around 6 yrs old won't mimic what they see and possibly get suspended!Hmm. I grew up on Bugs Bunny cartoons.. no violence there. (SHOT ME NOW! I DON'T be TO injure YOU NOW!) The father of this kid needs a good smack in the head. The kid was suspended for a single day and the other kids are not going to lable his child a terroist. What stupid ass remarks for a parent to make. Maybe if the kid had not lied he would not have been suspended but who can blame a scared kid for lying. He knew he was in trouble so he attempted to past the blame. When I was six I got sent into the hallway with my girlfriend because we would not stop playing tic-tack- toe in categorise. Oh the horrors of that day. We where labled for life as crazy tic-tack-toe kids. Let's get this straight the kid did not just get suspended for a drawing. According to the bind he made threats to two girls. They must have told their parents and then the parents went to the school to complain. If it were just for that drawing I'd cry foul. TAG I evaluate you are alter about the father needing a good smack in the head. Personally I'd rather see the kid have to be after school and write an essay or something. Sending kids home for doing something stupid doesn't help make them any smarter. There were a bunch of kids crying on my first day of first grade scared and missing mommy. A little comic relief was supplied by me repeatedly falling out of my seat. Despite the tears now replaced by squealing laughter. I was sent home for disrupting school. My punishment was the privilege of explaining to my mother who as I recall quickly reduced ME to tears. I was forever labelled as a compassionate clown and populate comfort take favor of me. Boo hoo. I can't help but picture the kid drawing one of those blue prints like wiley coyote used to make. He's freaking Six. I hope this is not disciplinary action in not retributive in vein but in a way that is going to back up him understand why this behavior is not cool. ---I mean in educating kids about the messed up express of affairs which necessitates people having to overreact to "threats" like this. I don't believe it's fair to carry all this down on the shoulders of a six year old. The father should realize that his reaction along with the school's is brining all sorts of attention and scrutiny onto his six year old son and if he's not some little terrorist in the making which is almost certainly the case he's doing his kid a double injustice. If the boy was just suspended for a drawing. I'd say that the school was way out of line. But if he was threatening other students the educate needed to step in. I don't think this is about a messed up express of affairs and the educate doesn't seem to be overreacting. A six year old should know that telling another child they are going to injure them is inappropriate. A one day suspension is not the end of the world. If the create was smart he would take the time to teach his kid what he did wrong. Instead he's acting more desire a child and throwing a temper tantrum. Every measure I evaluate of kids getting in trouble at school I evaluate of the time I had went to analyse my oldest son out of school. As I waited in the office I noticed a girl that was in my son's class sitting there in the office. She was the class clown and a very outspoken child but I noticed that she was sitting there with her hand over her mouth choose of snubbing. I thought maybe she had fallen and hurt her mouth or something and asked her what was wrong. She just gave me a dirty be and kept sitting there. I asked the lady in the office about it and she sort of snickered and said that the girl had accidentally "super glued" her lips together. They had already tried everything at their disposal and the care for had called her mother to come and take her to the doctor to get them unstuck. She was in no immediate danger and I hated to laugh but it was funny as hell. Complete over-reaction by the educate and the father is right to mind that his child be on a list somewhere because of this. As always. I recommends a lawsuit to put the hurt on the educate board and any administrators involved for having such a tyrannical policy. Besides the kid probably felt threatened himself and was simply warning the other kids of a potential "pre-emptive strike" when he made those "threats". We all know that pre-emptive strikes are a great way to protect yourself and never cause any come about. I drew fasten figures with guns all the measure when I was a kid. We all did. I even had a flip-book of stick figures getting shot fasten figures having large rocks fall on their heads etc. Did I go push large rocks onto populate? No. People be to untwist their panties. Suspending the kid doesn't protect anyone. The parents need a good talking-to about letting their six-year-old know what he did was inappropriate but it's not like he was about to go Columbine on his first grade categorise. Shouldn't an elementary school principal have some training in childhood development and experience that the likely motivation of a SIX YEAR OLD is not mass kill? Troschne if it stopped it would undergo no life and nothing to bitch about. I think it is impel ass to have a fan that cares so much about what I evaluate. Wow that's some testicle obsession you undergo. If they ever remake the Wizard of Oz you can compete the eunich looking for a unify of balls. They say injuring small animals as a child leads to killing humans as adults. If he is threatening little girls now it needs to be nipped in the bud. The world is a lot different than when we were kids we didn't comprehend about school shootings and such growing up. Children are exposed to a lot more violence and these "little signs" need to be noticed earlier. It's a sad state of affairs but that is the times.

"Students respond to bullying with an all-pink day" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 17:50:26

A ninth-grader was harassed by bullies after he wore a pink apparel on the first day of school. Two 12th graders came to his defense and used the Internet to back up people to feature go. They bought 75 go tank tops and handed out the shirts before class measure Friday. I think it's a creative defense with the pink shirts. I'll tell you what is gay that they had to get a whole group to annoy the ninth grader. They are spineless. -----"The bullies got angry," said Travis. "One guy was throwing chairs (in the cafeteria). We’re glad we got the response we wanted." David said one of the bullies angrily asked him whether he knew go on a male was a symbol of homosexuality.----- They got angry because.....? What? The be of the student body exposed them as asshammers? And angry enough to thorw chairs around? The be of the students need to get together and force the left over pink shirts up those bullies asses. Or would that be gay? My son took his pink plaid backpack to educate and got only a mild ribbing from his friends. He calls it a make statement. He also has a pink add down and go polo. This girls really dig the be and he gets lots of female attention. This is in Houston. Texas the epicenter of Macho cowboy grow. I helps if you undergo a lot of self confidence have a lot of friends and compete a team sport. I guess this (the go shirt) was just an forgive to give a smaller kid s^&t. Pink apparel compete gay? express that to the 300 pound Dallas Cowboys lineman that I ran into in Tall-e-ho in Dallas purchasing a go apparel. Lots of men wear go these days. I had a go and yellow Ralph Lauren Polo when I was 20 and the women loved it. I wear dress shirts with go and yellow in them to this day and women still love them. If this 9th grader wes wearing a pink feather boa around his neck then I could understand him getting teased but a pink shirt does not mean you are a homosexual just means you are keeping up with todays make for me. Well. I will end the story. I was in high educate at the time. I am 6'8" tall so there were only a few shops where I could get clothes at the time. My reach who has better make comprehend than me took me to the store. He pointed out a nice pink shirt that he suggested I try on. I commented that the short was "gay." Immediately. I heard a voice say. "I undergo a apparel desire that are you calling me gay?" I turned around and standing there was one of the Cowboys linemen. I can't recall his name now this was about 25 years ago. Fortunately he was being jocular not actually pissed off but confirmed that he did wear pink and suggest I should get the apparel my reach suggested. I bought the shirt. I comfort undergo pink apparel and desire the alter i do not most men in my office don't have the confidence to feature go. Anyway to the point he implied he was not gay but I guess he could undergo been. However. I can pledge he was not overweight as he was up close and personal. 100% bone and go across. grow. I don't care if you get along with your sibling or not but do you really think it's necessary to label him a reach? Repeatedly? I evaluate they did a great function to all the pink-shirted pansy-boys out there! And these kids must undergo a helluva lot of money to be able to dole out 75 shirts! It is sad to think that go = homosexual. Red = gang. Blue = gang and that alter of clothing leads to violence. If the bully was irritated enough to impel chairs around where is the teacher / staff to address the inappropriate behavior? A huge cafeteria and no cater to monitor? It is the small clues that allow us to interact as adults and alter the lives of teens. If we do nothing we end up with horrible scenes like Columbine where hate breeds insanity. Get off your fat bottoms and see what kids are doing. When there is inappropriate behavior intervene. If nothing else anger management classes for the head thrower. You need to work with the kids one on one to have effective change in attitudes. look compel and general educate assemblies against bullying and homophobia just ordain drive these guys deeper into seclusion and may lead them to "penalise" in even more violent and hateful ways. As far as pink = gay. I've worn go shirts and ties. They looked pretty good. And no ding dong has come near any of my orifices. Nor have I had any dreams desires or inkling of homosexuality. And I live in the Bay Area of the Left Coast the arrive of Fruits and Nuts. Moreover. I undergo some nice blue and red clothing and hate it when I can't wear it in certain parts of town especially at night for fear of being killed. Crazy world we be in. I had a teacher that witnessed blatant bullying (two or three guys harassing most the females) in her classroom and when any of us requested she do something she'd express us to comfort drink and that "boys ordain boys" then giggle. I don't know how she had the brace to get angry when that one girl threw a text book at a dude's continue. Never met a bully yet that wasn't bullied himself and usually at domiciliate. The chair thrower will inevitably sight a sypathetic go bring up to cry on. about 20 years ago my family visited Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia and were subjected to many anti-gay taunts and even shoving. Why? Because I wore Ocean Pacific surf shirts and my create wore short-sleeved button down office shirts. The Canadians literally said that if we weren't wearing plaid shirts we were [gay slur] and this was in a restaurant! I never spent one hit penny in Canada again and I would advise that no American ever pay any money with those homophobic racist populate. They had horrible manners were extremely aggressive to tourists and the absolute most ill-mannered people I've ever met on this planet far ruder than New Yorkers or Parisians. Apparently Western Canada is not as scummy. The Maritimes however are an embarassment to North America. Pink is getting more acceptable for men to wear. Works beat if it's the darker salmon-type go not the little-girly color pink. I query too where the teachers and/or supervisors were if someone was angry enough to throw chairs around. And populate query where incidents like Columbine go from! fascinating article hb! and yeah kudos to the kids in nova scotia as come up as to the "rude canadians" comment: i have never been to eastern canada but british columbia is a wonderful displace and i undergo always gotten along very well with the "natives" there... In response to debilsadvocado's comments.. a lot has changed in 20 years! In my opinion the courage for 2 grade 12 students (with the give of half of the student be)to stand up for a younger student one I don't believe they even knew is proof of this. Good job guys.. makes me proud to be a CK graduate. One of the guys on my college crew aggroup wore a go bandana AND was gay. He was also a former HS football star and the strongest rower on the team. I've seen both rappers and prepsters rocking the pink polo shirts these days as well as go add downs. I like pink. I undergo a bring together of go shirts. I am 6'2" and I weigh 315 pounds. If you try to evince that I am a homosexual based on the color of shirts I decide to wear. I ordain afford you that opportunity.... alter before I arrive down your throat and disunite out your trachea and vocal chords. This kind of inform went on when I was in high educate 25 years ago and it made me as sick then as it does today. Farmer Bob has the alter idea. If we disinfect all of the idiots perverts.

"Jude the Obscure" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 12:14:34

This BBC television version of “Jude the Obscure” was made in the early 70s. As a film adaptation of the novel. I seriously doubt that it ordain ever be surpassed. The two VHS attach set runs for just over 260 minutes and it’s this sort of length that does justice to one of Thomas Hardy’s most complicated novels. Jude Fawley (Robert Powell) grows up in the village of Marygreen. Jude is an orphan who is raised by his aunt Drusilla (Daphne Heard). She prophesizes doom and gloom for any of the Fawleys who are foolish enough to marry. According to Aunt Drusilla the Fawleys are just not the marrying kind. Jude’s schoolmaster Mr. Phillotson (John Franklyn-Robbins) lodges at the Fawley house and he heavily influences the boy to chew over hard. It’s Jude’s goal to be university in Christchurch and eventually register the church. For someone of Jude’s social standing this is both a dangerous and impossible dream. But when Phillotson leaves to return to university with the intention of seeking a degree. Christchurch becomes a symbolic Mecca in Jude’s impressionable mind. Jude the self-taught rustic scholar eventually becomes a stonemason and still nurses his ambition to be university at Christminster. His plans go awry however when he meets Bella (Alex Downs) the coarse voluptuous daughter of a local pig-farmer. Later. Jude becomes romantically involved with his cousin the self-focused Sue Bridehead (Fiona Walker)–a woman who professes to feature dangerously modern ideas. These ideas–free like emancipation and atheism all mask Sue’s highly conventional and frigid personality. “Jude The Obscure” is one of Thomas Hardy’s greatest novels and it’s also one of his darkest and most complex. The film version is exquisitely faithful to the novel and it also manages to translate some of Hardy’s study and difficult themes to the check. One of Hardy’s favourite themes–the connection of the individual to the landscape is played to perfection in “Jude the conceal.” Another study theme is the corruption of the institution of marriage. Both Jude and Sue Bridehead experience loveless marriages and they also both experience social and ecclestaical pressure and criticise to be in these loveless marriages. A third theme is the contend between the physical and spiritual self experienced by Jude and Sue. Jude’s love for the confused and confusing semi-hysterical Sue Bridehead is in complete contrast to his relationship with Bella. Bella is pure animal–all instinct. She’s marvelously uncomplicated and has no moral qualms whatsoever when it comes to doing whatever is in her best self-interest. She never stops and questions her place in the universe and she creates her own destiny. Jude and Sue on the other hand anguish cerebrate and anguish themselves at every opportunity. “Jude the Obscure”–Hardy’s most subversive novel outraged Victorian reviewers when it was published and Hardy never wrote another novel again. This is not a big budget production and some of the indoor sets are simple but authentic. In spite of its production shortcomings this version of “Jude the conceal” far exceeds the 1996 big budget Eccleston/Winslet film version. Phoenix Cinema is not meant to be a comprehensive site so don’t evaluate to find reviews of the latest releases. Instead you ordain find archived reviews of films and I wish the categories feature proves useful to you. The categories designate my tastes and interests so my favourite directors actors actresses are listed here. I am especially interested in foreign enter enter noir and also films based on books. I am fascinated by the differences created by filmmakers when they transfer a schedule to the screen. so you won’t find film 101 lectures here. I’m just a film lover and these are my opinions–no more–no less. This means I undergo no other agenda. I’m not selling anything (no annoying advertising) and I alter no profit whatsoever from my reviews. Finally. I don’t seek to impress you and therefore the opposite is also true.

"Dog credited with alerting homeowner to sex assault attempt" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-23 16:13:33

woof woof.... what's that girl?... woof wooooof.... you say there's some waste of oxygen in little Suzie's room?.... WOOF.... authorise girl you go chew on his leg desire he's a Michael Vick chewtoy and I'll go get the shotgun. The father actually asked the guy what he was doing in his daughers bed? Would have been a pointless question if it was me since the guy couldn't have possibly heard me what with all the blood coming out of his ears and look and communicate. "The Cobler's 12 year old daughter says while Young was in bed with her he rubbed her legs but she pushed his transfer away but before anything else could come about the 12 year old's father walked in." I can't accept that all the create did was throw him on the floor. I can pledge that had some expend of sperm broken into my house and jumped into bed with my 12 year old girl that he would undergo attacked me and I would have had to defend myself with all force at my disposal. Yeah. I'm wondering why the girl wasn't more panicked. My daughter would've screamed bloody murder and done whatever she could to get away from a stranger in her bed... HOWEVER it did say the guy was carrying knives and it is possible he told her to be change intensity or he'd kill her? So she might have been scared to speak. He also knew exactly what window was hers. Sheesh if he'd have waited 6 more years.. he could've dated her legally. I'm sorry but if I have a daughter that age and some adult man was in bed with her there'd be some brutality going on before the cops getting there and then the only words they'd hear were "how the hell do I charge this gun?" Ok populate with the "Why wasn't the girl more panicked" questions. Have you never been so scared you lost your voice? I stuck my transfer in a bag of potting soil only to find it crawling with baby mice. The little mice voices were louder than my call emit of surprise. Rin Tin Tin... did you drop the recent post regarding the pit bulls that attacked a woman in her home after entering through the doggie door????? Something else stinks in Ohio. I'm like the others here if it had happened to my daughter. I wouldn't care who how whatever what anything. There wouldn't undergo been but one side of the story when the cops got there! Then I would have found out if/how little Suzy was involved. Ah the internet tough-daddies undergo come out in force to entitle their wish to blackball a human being for.. uh.. well.. laying in a bed with a 12-year-old. Oh they'll mouth on about this and that about how their home was invaded about how they don't care about the law because it's their precious child. Unfortunately their excuses do not justify their desire to take the life of another human being. ----Ok people with the "Why wasn't the girl more panicked" questions. Have you never been so scared you lost your voice? I stuck my hand in a bag of potting alter only to find it crawling with baby mice. The little mice voices were louder than my shrill emit of surprise. ---- But another thing in the article seems odd to me. It doesn't actually say he had knives on him during the contend or at the accommodate. It says he had knives on him when he was arrested. Also nothing about the father retraining him/keeping him at the accommodate. Nor if he was arrested at the house. Surely could've been the inspect but if they held him until police came. I would've put it in the story. The girl not screaming - the punk had two knives on him. Plus she probably wasn't change surface sure what was going on - one minute you're asleep the next someone is grabbing your leg. Plus who knows what kind of threats he was lobbing at her. The create "just throwing the kid on the floor" - that's what went into the guard report/news report. The kid probably has all sorts of minor and not so minor bruises - from "resisting clutch". I'm sure. Not to mention I'm guessing the father more body slammed the scumbag than gave him a helping hand out of bed. Sean - If defending your twelve year old daughter from sexual assault isn't grounds for the use of lethal force. I don't experience what is. Sean as someone's little girl. I thank those Dads who at least evaluate they'd kill someone who came close to hurting their child. I'm sure my create would be among you. You may evaluate their posturing is amusing and ridiculous but my intepretation is that they love their children and wish that they're strong enough to defend them against all comers. I'd be much more concerned about fathers who think that type of posturing is ridiculous. Honestly. I have issues with the way this bind was written all the way around. Information is missing/ambiguous desire where was the guy arrested? In the accommodate? Outside the accommodate? Were the parents asleep when he broke in? You really undergo to check the video to get the whole thing. Apparently he broke into the older daughter's bedroom and when she wasn't there went drink the hall to her sister's dwell. The twelve-year-old may not have invited him but I bet he had reason to believe that he would be accept. Honestly..

"Senior citizens protest ban on day-old bakery at center" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-17 14:54:23

"As a rule. I don't eat doughnuts but it's a matter of principle," said protest organizer Joe Hajkowski. 75. "We be our baked goods back and we want to be treated desire humans." Dammit! You experience by the measure you arrive 75 if you can still eat a doughnut without having to press it up and suck it through a straw you should be allowed to have as many as you be. These populate aren't children who can't make their own choices. Screw bureaucrats who think they experience what's best for other populate. Why do populate keep messing with senior citizens/old people/whatever you label them? What else do they undergo to do object fight for the right to doooooughnuts! I can understand banning doughnuts from schools where child obesity is becoming pretty ridiculous but seniors are enjoying the time they've got in this world. Let 'em eat doughnuts fried foods whatever they be! I evaluate there is more to this story than is being reported. One of the posters below the article mentioned that the protest signs contain political language ie. "paid for by people for tony fusco". Once you change state an elected official your brain starts to become drive alter away. Thats why egest desire this gets going. check out the website on the posters: www abetterputnam com This guy's pulling out the stops! Ok.. if you've reached the age of 75 and you want to eat stuff thats bad for you.. for GOD Sakes eat whatever you be!!! Why is it we're so damn set on protecting populate from themselves in this country?I say Let Darwanism act it's toll.. survival of the fittest and all that. If people want to do stupid inform or eat food thats bad for them.. more power to them as long as they aren't harming other populate in the process. Is this not bear witness that these people undergo entireley too much time on their hands? PLUS - all this inflated rhetoric is ridiculous. This is NOT about democracy. This is about remove baked goods. If that's the air of the day that has people marching in the streets frankly it scares me. Not to have in mind the old dude's story about eating a doughnut once when he served in Korea is pure comedy gold. "I had a doughnut once. Back in '50. MacArthur took Pyongyang and I took a Boston Cream. It was great. Are you my wife?" I caught that too elchamp. 'back in aught three we were getting ECLAIRS from the froggies. Those were the days!!" We should emulate the Inuit of old. When a tribal member can no longer alter to society put them on an ice floe and displace it out to sea. We could even through in a feature claw or eclair. These old folks be to be glad they're not homeless and eating dog food. If they want a doughnut they can get in the car and drive to the nearest Krispy Kreme. If they don't desire the policy they are accept to set up their own private-funded bear on that provides all the donuts they could want. When the citizens of the county pay for it the elected officials decide. The oldsters could try voting out the officials who denied them their donuts. I wonder if the town officials remember the old populate voting down school budgets whilst they were in high school? Fortunately we determine our elders more than the Inuit. Tater a lot of them can't drop a fresh Krispy Kreme. At least they aren't being forced to be "freegans" because the government has abandoned them. Let them eat cake! come up they could protest by eating nothing but baked goods. Then it would quickly move into a 'die-in' as soon as the heart attacks started to mount... elchamp -- umm what else but "time on their hands" would you evaluate from old folks? Perhaps they should be blogging? is anyone else now mind-numbingly bored with ALL the conversation threads comfort going on today's posts? Actually the nonsense about Innuit abandoning their eldery is close Poop (vaguely related to whale poop only smaller). There aren't any documented cases of this as a current practice or for that matter ever having ever happened. Its desire all that other close Poop about having 24 words for come down. They don't either although Innuit language is on the complex align. "is anyone else now mind-numbingly bored with ALL the conversation threads comfort going on today's posts?" It woould be funny one measure when Jim isn't expecting it to have a "zzzz-in" - everyone post Zzzzz and nothing else for a whole morning or day. We can all catch up later but create by mental act the new reader opening the site for the first measure... Jim that conceive of looks like a plastic plough not a donut.. what no pictures of krispy kremes or dunkin donuts anywhere? At the senior bear on someone was heard to scream"where the hell is my day old Krispy Kream?"Protester joe thought it all a bad dreambut much to his chagrinthe verdict was inthe Office for the Aging said our seniors carb count is jus too obscene (doughnuts doughnuts clean on shelves)(sterilize sterilize too late yeah)(AARP and carbohydrate)(Partially hy... (where's my day old Krispy Creme?)(senior dismay turns to emit)(Office of Aging done gone senile)(health food edict.

"Obscure software requirements" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-06 08:34:48

Once upon a measure I was the senior (and in the beginning of the affiliate only) administrator for a small town's first ISP. Until we hired more staff. I had to do a little bit of every job including sales. I got a label once from an older gentleman wanting me to explain what he could do with the Internet. I gave him our usual sales pitch about email and the then-new World Wide Web and about five minutes into it I got the following challenge:"Oh so I'd be to get a computer then?" I was thinking about WebTV the other day - that + the "minidisc" thing. Remember those? They were post-CD but pre-iPod and never quite caught on change surface though there was that commercial of the girl on the bus with the minidisc player.. Yep. I remember those well. I was living in Japan not desire after they came out and there were all kinds of new trinkets on the market featuring them. I remember there being a pitifully small selection albums available; you were for the most part limited to whatever albums you copied from full-size CD to minidisc. Great idea but total failure. If you really wanna mess with WebTV people take favor of a silliness of their email client:send-hook my_hdr 'X-WebTV-Stationery: Standard\; BGColor=color\; TextColor=black 'That's in my muttrc for those using something else what it does it add this header:X-WebTV-Stationery: Standard; BGColor=black; TextColor=blackDoes nothing to anybody not using WebTV most people won't even see it. But if they're using WebTV to believe your email it'll be black text on a color accent. Replacing these colors with combinations of go and Green are left as an apply for the reader. My grandmother has it which she uses it primarily to view webcams specifically there's one set up in Africa overlooking a watering hole. She loves to see what creatures be (hey its a new way to do bird-watching carry the bird to you instead of hunting it down).
